These are the smaller casters for the Rifton Hygiene and Toileting System, sold when you want the seat sitting lower to the floor.
Keeping the seat low matters for a client who stands to transfer, or for a child whose feet need to reach a footboard for stable toileting posture. The smaller wheel also turns more tightly, which counts for something in a domestic bathroom where there is barely room for the carer, let alone a full sized base.
They still roll properly, so the system can be wheeled over the toilet, used as a shower chair and pushed back out again without a fight. Fit them at order time, or swap them in later if the client’s height or the bathroom changes.
