If your client uses a Hippocampe wheelchair on sand, tracks or in the water, a little extra pelvic security makes the difference between a tense outing and a relaxed one. This waist belt is the Vipamat accessory made for that job.

It is a wide neoprene belt that holds the hips back into the base of the seat, so the person stays settled and does not slide forward as the chair tips over soft ground or is pushed down into the shallows. A foam pad sits behind the buckle to keep the hardware off the skin. Neoprene copes with salt water and sand and dries quickly afterwards.

It fits the Hippocampe range and adjusts without tools, so a carer can set it once and leave it.
