Limb Clip Flite slings are supplied in boxes of five and are used with a hoist to raise and support a single limb during care. They attach to a clip style spreader bar.
Lifting one leg or arm mechanically takes the strain out of jobs that otherwise get done by hand: dressing changes, catheter care, washing and drying between skin folds, applying compression, or holding a limb clear while bedding is changed. For care staff it removes an awkward static hold, and for the person it means the limb is supported steadily by the sling.
Supplying them as a multi pack suits a service that wants a fresh sling on hand for each person or each episode of care, without one being shared around a ward or a house.
