The sliding sleeve is the padded section that runs along the Molift assist strap and sits against the client’s back or hips while a carer helps them up into standing. It slides along the strap so it stays where the support is needed as the client rises.

This is the replacement sleeve, supplied on its own. It can renew a worn sleeve on a strap that is still sound, or be added as a second sleeve where two carers are working together on a transfer.

For rehabilitation and reablement programs where a client is practising standing several times a day, the sleeve wears faster than the strap, so keeping a spare on hand avoids taking the strap out of service.
