Some clients cannot close a hand around a grip at all, and a single bar gives them nothing to work against. The tripod tetra handle answers that with three points of contact, so the hand or forearm can be positioned against the handle and drive the tetra handlebar through pressure alone.

It is designed for people with low hand sensitivity and reduced motor control, and it makes both driving and manoeuvring easier because the user does not have to hold on to stay in control. The shape also gives a predictable place to return the hand to after a bump or a turn.

Handles are supplied one at a time, so a left and right setup can be built up if that is what your client needs.
