The Neuro is built around a reversed braking system: the brakes stay on until the user squeezes the levers to release them. For a client with Parkinson’s, MS or ataxia, that means the rollator holds still when they reach for it or go to sit, which is where a lot of confidence gets lost.
The frame is compact enough to turn in a hallway or a bathroom, the handles adjust and remember their height setting, and the backrest gives a safe seat when the client needs to stop. A quick fold cord collapses it for the car and leaves it standing upright.
It suits clients with freezing of gait, delayed reflexes or poor balance who need the walker to stay put while they manage their own starting and stopping. An optional one handed brake is available where hand strength is uneven.
