The weighing tray is rounded with slightly raised sides, so the baby feels held and secure. Press the release and the tray lifts off the base, leaving a flat scale a small child can stand on, which stretches the useful life of one piece of equipment well past the newborn stage.
The buttons do what they say. HOLD keeps the reading on screen while you attend to the baby, TARE takes out the weight of a nappy or a wrap, and the breast milk intake function subtracts the pre feed weight to show how much milk was taken.
It runs on batteries and is compact enough to carry between houses.
