This is the replacement corded hand control for the Empresa bed and the Floorbed 6. It is the handset the client or carer holds to raise and lower the bed and to adjust the backrest and leg sections.
Order it when the original has been damaged, has a cut or pulled cable, has taken water, or when the buttons no longer respond. A faulty handset is a common cause of a bed that looks like it has failed altogether, so it is worth ruling out before booking a service call on the bed itself.
It plugs into the existing control box, so nothing on the bed needs rewiring. The handset is specific to the Empresa and the Floorbed 6 and will not fit other bed brands. If the bed is still under warranty, the handset may be covered.
