This over chair table has a tilting main platform, which is what makes it useful for reading, writing and tablet use as well as meals. The tilt locks at several fixed angles and a retainer runs along the lower edge to stop things sliding off once the top is pitched.
A second fixed platform sits alongside at flat level with its own guard rail, so a drink can stay upright while the main surface is angled. Height adjusts with a positive lock and a large lever, so it moves through a wide range for a client seated in a low recliner or propped up in bed.
The base is a U shape sized to come in around a lift chair base, and it is low enough at the front to run under a bed. Castors are twin wheel with two of them locking. The beech finish top is vinyl wrapped with rounded edges and a sealed surface, so it wipes down and suits a lounge room.
