The Pack-It is a small ROHO air cell cushion for short term use, made for clients who are active and on the move. It goes in a bag and comes out when it is needed: for a shower chair, a spectator seat, a plane or a bus, or a borrowed chair at someone’s house.
It is also used as a scapular, sacral or lumbar support where a bit of air cell protection is wanted behind or under a specific area. The neoprene construction absorbs shock and copes with being packed, dropped and wiped down.
This is a short term cushion, not a daily seating surface, and it is best prescribed as an extra alongside a client’s main cushion. For wheelchair users who travel or compete, it means their skin protection does not stop when they leave the chair.
