It charges either on board with the battery still in the scooter, or off board with the pack carried inside to a power point, which suits travel, hotel stays and hospital admissions.

It is still a lift out pack, so the scooter can be split into manageable pieces for a car boot, and lithium keeps that weight down for the carer doing the lifting.
