The Icare Hydrosense Unit is the control unit at the centre of the Hydrosense system. It heats or cools water and pumps it through whichever pad, wrap or cuff the client is using, holding the chosen temperature for the whole session.
It suits clients whose comfort or therapy depends on managing body temperature: heat sensitivity in multiple sclerosis, swelling and inflammation, post operative recovery, menopause, and clients with reduced mobility who cannot move away from a warm sleep surface on their own. Settings are made on a touch screen panel, and a built in timer means a session can be set to finish on its own so nobody wakes cold.
The pump is quiet enough for overnight use and the unit draws less power than many household appliances. Accessories connect and swap over easily as needs change.
