Small taps, radiator valves and control knobs are a common sticking point for clients with arthritis, tremor or reduced grip strength. The Homecraft Contour Turner gives them a way to keep managing those jobs without calling for help.
The head holds a set of spring loaded stainless steel rods. Press it over a tap or a knob and the rods retract around the shape, so the turner grips odd forms that a hand alone cannot hold. The T shaped handle then lets your client turn with the whole hand and forearm, not the fingers.
It is light enough to keep in a pocket or a handbag, so it can travel between the kitchen, the bathroom and the caravan. A useful item to have on hand during a home assessment where several small controls are causing trouble.
