About this product

A wider profiling bed for a larger person, with a frame and motors rated to carry the load through every movement, not only when the bed is lying flat.

Who it suits

A larger client who needs width to be positioned safely and comfortably, and the care team working around them. The extra width gives room to roll a person, place slide sheets and work from both sides without anyone being close to the edge.

Profiling takes over work that used to be done with pillows and with staff backs. Raising the head section for meals, breathing or reflux, bending the knee section to stop the slide down the bed, and bringing the whole bed to a working height all reduce manual handling and let the person take part in their own positioning.

Height adjustment also means the bed drops low at night for a client at risk of rolling out, then comes back up for cares in the morning.
