Reaching a sock, a shoe or the shoulder of a jumper is the part of dressing that stops people first, usually after a hip replacement or when back pain limits bending. This tool puts a strong plastic hook on one end of a long handle so clothing can be caught and pulled without leaning forward.
The hook is shaped to hold fabric without snagging it, so a client can lift trousers by a belt loop, push a sleeve off a shoulder or work a sock down over the heel. A shoehorn on the other end finishes the job, which means one tool covers dressing from trousers through to shoes.
A closed cell foam grip runs along the handle, giving something easy to hold for a client with arthritic hands or reduced grip strength, and it wipes clean.
