Back hardware is what ties a backrest to the wheelchair canes, and it decides how firmly the back holds and how much you can move it later. This Therafin kit supplies the J brackets and L brackets used in that mounting, along with the fixings.

The bracket pattern gives an OT scope to shift the back forward, back and up and down at a fitting, which is how you get seat depth and back height right for a particular client. Once set, the mounting is solid enough to take the load of a client who pushes back hard.

It also serves as a repair path where original hardware has been damaged, bent or lost.
