The seat swivels through a full turn, so the user can pivot to a trolley or an assistant without dragging the base across the floor. The vinyl upholstery is anti-microbial and anti-static, with vinyl over and under the seat so the whole thing can be wiped down.

A wide chrome base on double wheel castors keeps it steady in use. It is made in Australia and the castors do not have a brake.
