An overbed table earns its place when someone can move it themselves. This Viva table uses a gas assisted column, so the top can be raised or lowered one handed at any point in its range without the client needing to ask for help or lean out of bed.
The top is a one piece moulded ABS with no joins or awkward contours, which makes it quick to wipe down between clients and easier to satisfy infection control in a shared setting. A soft raised lip around the edge helps stop plates, cups and remotes sliding off.
The base is a U shape on an elliptical aluminium frame, so it can be pushed in close to a chair or bed without the legs getting in the way, while still giving a wide, stable footprint. It rolls on four swivel castors, two of which brake.
