The Maxi Sky 2 is Arjo’s ceiling hoist for clients who transfer often and need a system that is always in the room and ready. This build is the four function motor, so the unit lifts and traverses under power, and it comes supplied with a two point hanger for everyday sling transfers, sitting to lying and back again.
It is the infection control version, which means the lifting strap, emergency cord and spreader bar are non porous and can be wiped down properly. That matters in shared care settings, respite, and any home where a client is immunosuppressed or has a wound or catheter to protect.
The handset drives the whole transfer and the colour display cassette shows the charge and status at a glance, so a carer can see where the hoist is up to before starting. Capacity is set at commissioning to match the client and the track.
