Upper limb range of motion work needs the arm supported so the movement comes from the shoulder and not from compensation. This skateboard gives a large, low friction surface for figure of eight and reaching patterns, which is useful in stroke rehabilitation, after a shoulder injury and for maintenance programs at home.
The surface is vinyl covered hardboard with a metal rim on three sides to keep the skate on the board, and the outer edge lets you clamp the unit to a table so it stays put while the client works. A hand hole is cut into the board so a therapist can carry it between rooms.
This is the board on its own, so the arm skate and the weight resistance system are ordered separately if your program needs them.
