The Caretek Rally is an accident and emergency trolley for settings that need a patient moved, positioned and imaged without a second transfer. Height is adjusted by a German made Power Packer hydraulic system, and both the backrest and the trolley tilt are gas assisted, so one staff member can set a position against a patient’s weight.
Who it suits
It suits emergency departments, day procedure rooms and aged care sites that need a durable trolley for assessment and short stay use. The platform is x-ray capable along its full length and includes a cassette holder, so imaging can happen where the patient is lying. Three quarter length stainless steel side rails fold down out of the way for transfers and access.
The undercarriage is covered in ABS with storage built in, and the castors are centrally locked from pedals at both the head and the foot end, which matters when you are working alone at one end of the trolley.
