About this product

A firm wedge is one of the most useful things you can put in a bed. This one is high density polyurethane foam, large and firm enough to hold its shape under load week after week.

Used at the head of the bed it raises the upper body for reflux, breathing or comfort. Under the knees it takes strain off the lower back, and under the calves it raises the legs for oedema or after surgery. Because it holds its shape, the position you set at night is the position your client is still in at 3am.

The cover is removable for washing, which matters for continence and infection control in shared settings, and replacement covers are available so the wedge stays in service.
