Who it suits
The Pixi is a paediatric stroller for children who need postural support to sit well but do not need a full wheelchair for everyday outings. It suits kids from around three years through the teens across its two sizes, and it comes here in the Australian build with the five point harness fitted.
The seat is a rigid moulded shell, so the child keeps a consistent seated position all day and the support surfaces do not shift underneath them. The backrest reclines, which gives the family somewhere to put a child who needs to rest or sleep partway through an outing.
Families feel the difference in the frame. It folds down quickly to fit a car boot, and ball bearing castors make it light on the push handle through shopping centres and on footpaths. Seat depth extensions are available, so the stroller grows with the child over several years.
