Who it suits
An indoor walker for a client whose balance is poor at home and who needs something that stays under them when they push on it. Eight soft rubber wheels turn independently, so the frame moves forwards, sideways and around on the spot without the user having to steer hard or lift it.
The handle runs right around the frame, so your client can take hold anywhere on it and still reach the brake. The brake works from either side with one hand and doubles as a park brake. The handles are soft faux leather, and the frame does not fold, which is what gives it its stability in the home.
A tray and a felt basket come with it, so a cup of tea or a plate moves between rooms in one trip. The tray is birch with a cork surface that holds a cup in place. It looks like furniture, which matters to a lot of clients who resist having equipment in the living room.
