Some clients can get onto a seat at the bath rim but cannot lower themselves in or rise out again. The KCare KA610 does that part for them. It sits inside a standard bath, takes the user down to the bottom, and brings them back up to rim height at the end.
A wireless handset runs it, with up and down buttons, an emergency stop and a battery indicator. The rechargeable battery lives in the handset, so the handset leaves the bathroom to charge and nothing mains powered goes near the water. The lift itself is waterproof, the charger is not.
Fold out side flaps bridge the gap to the rim and help with the sideways transfer onto the seat, and the backrest reclines and locks so your client can be positioned back rather than held upright. Suction cups hold the base on the bath floor. The frame folds down for storage and transport, which matters where the bath is shared with the rest of the household. It is listed on the ARTG and independently tested to international product safety, electrical safety and EMC standards.
