This version of the forearm support tutor runs swivel castors at the front and glides at the rear. The glides create drag, so the frame does not run away from a client who pushes harder than they mean to or who leans forward as they step.
That suits clients early in gait retraining, clients with impulsivity or reduced safety awareness, and anyone whose confidence drops the moment a frame feels like it is getting ahead of them. The swivel castors still allow turns at the end of a corridor or in a bathroom doorway.
Weight goes through height adjustable forearm gutters, which keeps painful wrists, weak grip and fixed hand deformity out of the equation. The cuffs rotate and the grips adjust for depth, so you can set it to your client’s own arm position. It folds for storage and for moving between sessions.
