About this product

A client who slides forward in a chair, or who sits with a posterior pelvic tilt, often needs the front of the seat lifted before anything else will hold. This wedge does that: it tips the pelvis so the client sits back into the chair rather than sliding out of it.

The section under the coccyx lifts out, which gives you a relief cut out for a client with a sore or broken down tailbone, and goes back in for a client who does not need it. Foam is medium density polyurethane, firm enough to keep the wedge angle under load.

The cover is vinyl and fabric, so it wipes down for a client with continence issues and comes off for washing. It is DVA approved and moves easily between a lounge chair, a dining chair and a wheelchair.
