The Eleganza 1 is a full electric ward bed for standard acute care. Height, backrest, thighrest and Trendelenburg all adjust from the handset, so staff can bring a patient to a working height, sit them up for meals or drop the head end for a clinical need without lifting anything.
Who it suits
It is built for hospital wards and larger residential facilities where beds are in constant use and are moved between rooms. The mattress platform is wide, the frame carries a heavy safe working load and the bed can be extended for a taller patient, so one bed covers most of the ward.
The Ergoframe system lengthens the platform through the pelvic area as the bed contours, which reduces shear on the tissue when a patient is sat up. Siderails drop with a soft drop gas spring, the platform lifts out for cleaning and overload protection is built into the lift.
