A cushion cover takes the wear that the cushion itself never sees: transfers, washing, incontinence and daily friction. Replacing the cover restores the surface the client sits on without replacing the whole JAY Fusion cushion.
The Fusion uses a two cover system, and the outer stretch cover is the part that works hardest. It stretches with the client as they immerse into the cushion, so the fabric does not go tight across the top and create surface tension over the bony points. The outer cover is machine washable and has a handle for easy removal, which makes laundering it part of the routine.
