About this product

A back rest changes how long a person can tolerate sitting. Support behind the pelvis and the lower trunk stops the slide forward that ends with a client sacral sitting, sore and asking to go back to bed.

This back rest mounts to the chair and gives a shaped surface for the spine to rest against, with contact spread across the width of the back. For a client who fatigues through the day, that support is often the difference between getting out for the morning and being packed up by lunchtime.

It suits a client who needs more postural support than the chair is giving on its own, and it can be fitted to a chair they already have and already know how to drive or push.
