About this product

Who it suits

Bariatric clients who need a full body hoist transfer and carers who need the working room to do it safely. The Birdie Evo XPlus is the largest of the Birdie Evo mobile hoists, with a longer base, a wider leg spread and the highest weight capacity in the range.

The extra base length gives the lift better stability under load, and the wide leg spread lets the carer bring the hoist right around a wheelchair, a recliner or a commode, so the transfer happens in one move. The mast drops low enough for a floor recovery and lifts high enough to clear a raised bed. Larger rear castors help it roll over thresholds and carpet with a heavier client on board.

It runs on a rechargeable battery with an emergency lowering control, and it takes Invacare spreader bars and slings in the sizes bariatric clients actually need.
