A full length positioning pillow for side lying, pregnancy, post operative positioning and general comfort in bed. It supports the body from the shoulders down to the knees, which helps keep the spine, hips and legs in a reasonable line overnight.
The difference is in the fill. An ActiveX bead core moves and moulds under the body instead of resisting it, wrapped in a soft hollow fibre encasement that adds a plush layer and helps the pillow hold its shape. A client or a carer can shape it into position and it stays where it is put, so the trunk, pelvis and limbs can all be supported at once.
For shared use settings there is an optional medical grade wipeable cover, which lets a facility or an equipment pool clean it between clients without losing the positioning function.
