The LRC build gives powered lift, powered traverse and infrared remote control, with a long lifting band. For a client who can work a remote, that combination means bringing the hoist to themselves and running a transfer without waiting on someone else to hold the hand control.
The long band suits high ceilings and deep drops: a bath, a pool, or a pick up from floor level after a fall. Travel speed is adjustable so the movement can be tuned to the client.
Carers keep full access to the controls as well. Emergency stop and mechanical emergency descent work from floor level with or without power, and backup lift and traverse buttons are on the motor.
