This mobile hoist folds in one motion, with no tools and nothing to take apart, and fits in a car boot. It is the hoist to specify when transfers have to happen away from home: at a relative’s house, in respite, on holiday or at a second residence.
Who it suits
It suits a client on full hoist transfers who travels, and families who do not want a hoist standing in a small living room between uses. The spreader bar is integrated and takes Handi-Move slings, so the sling the client already uses can travel with them.
Leg spread works from a foot pedal, which keeps the carer’s hands on the client while the base opens around a chair or a bed. The charger is built in and the battery pack lifts out for charging away from the hoist. Mechanical emergency lowering is standard.
