A handle fitted to the Grillo for the person walking with the client. It gives a carer, teacher or therapist a proper place to hold, so the frame can be steered around a doorway, held back on a slope or moved between rooms without anyone bending over the frame or pulling on a part that was not meant for it.
It matters most in a school corridor or a busy clinic, where the client is doing the walking but an adult needs to manage the line the frame takes. Working at handle height also saves the assistant’s back over a long session.
The handle mounts to the Grillo frame and can be taken off again when a client is walking independently, so the same frame suits supported practice and independent use.
We are Tasmanian owned and can fit one to your client’s Grillo.
