Front drive arm supports for the smaller Grillo frames, sized for clients in the size 1 to 2 range. They hold the forearms in a supported position on the anterior frame so the client can push into the walker and drive forward with the arms, without hanging off the handles.
For a client with poor grip or fluctuating tone, forearm support spreads the load along the whole arm and keeps the shoulders down. It usually makes the step pattern cleaner because the upper body is not fighting to stay put.
The supports are padded, and the angle and position can be adjusted on the frame as the client’s control changes.
