The Helio A7 is an ultralight folding wheelchair for an active manual user who wants the push of a rigid frame and the practicality of a chair that folds into a car. The frame is hydroformed 7005 T6 aluminium, with a symmetrical crossbrace and a folding system built to hold the frame stiff so energy goes into the push.
Who it suits
It suits someone self propelling all day, including clients managing shoulder load, where every gram and every bit of lost energy shows up by the afternoon. Full adjustment of seat width, depth, seat height front and rear, back angle, camber and centre of gravity means the chair can be set up around the person.
Flip back convertible armrests change to single post without tools, and the anti flutter system settles the front castors with a turn of a screw.
