Some students cannot be transported safely on a school bus in a standard seat, and the bus itself has no anchor points. This kit solves that. The mount wraps around an existing bus seat and feeds a strap between the seat back and the cushion, then four tethers connect to the D rings at the waist and the roll adjusters at the shoulders of a compatible transport vest.
It installs without drilling and comes off again just as quickly, so one kit can move between buses and between routes as timetables change. That flexibility is usually what makes it workable for a school or a transport provider running several vehicles.
The seat belt cutter is included for emergency egress and should be stored where the driver or aide can reach it. The mount is used only on school bus seating that allows the strap to pass through, and only with a matching vest.
