The Gopher SV suits a client who wants a full size scooter for everyday community travel: shops, appointments, the footpath to the local park. It is a four wheel machine with front and rear suspension, so the ride stays settled over kerb ramps, rough concrete and gravel driveways.
The seat is a high back vinyl seat with a pillow top headrest and limited recline, and it folds down for loading. Armrests flip up and adjust for height and angle, which helps a client who transfers side on or needs the armrest out of the way. The seat swivels for standing transfers, and the height adjusts through a range so you can set it to suit the client’s leg length.
Controls are kept simple. The tiller wraps around with easy drive handles, the console shows battery level, speed and lights at a glance, and the buttons are colour coded. Full LED lighting front and rear with indicators, a front basket, seat pockets and a rear view mirror come as standard.
