Pre pack medication rounds need a cart that holds the packs in order and locks properly at the end of the round. This Viva pre pack medication cart is built in aluminium with three drawers and a single central key lock, so the whole cart secures in one turn.
The ABS top carries a slide out work surface, which gives a nurse somewhere to put charts and packs while dispensing without balancing them on the drawer edge. Drawers are soft close, and dividers are available to lay the drawers out by resident, round or time of day.
A push handle and four twin swivel castors, two of them locking and one directional, keep it tracking straight down a corridor and standing still when it is parked. Aluminium construction keeps the weight down for staff pushing it through a full round.
