About this product

A pendant on a lanyard gets taken off. A wristband tends to stay on, which is why the Cura1 2595 suits clients who need a call button with them all day rather than one hanging by the bed. Pressing the large rubber button raises an alert on a paired Cura1 receiver, so a carer can respond without the client having to reach a fixed call point.

It works with Cura1 StaffAlert and LRCS duress systems as well as Cura1 pagers and monitors, so it can be added to an existing setup rather than starting again. It is small and light enough for continuous wear and is rated IP65, so hand washing and bathroom use do not end its life. The battery is user replaceable, and it comes with a buckle strap, with a lanyard available if the client prefers to wear it at the neck.

Range depends on the building, so plan where receivers sit against the layout rather than the headline figure, particularly in older brick homes and facilities with long corridors. The other thing worth testing before you prescribe is whether the client can reliably press a button at all. Where they cannot, a sensor based alert that triggers on its own is the safer option.
