About this product

Fat wheels change what a manual wheelchair can get across once a Klaxon Klick power add on is fitted. The wider tyre spreads the load over soft ground, so sand, gravel, grass and loose tracks stop swallowing the rear wheels and the chair keeps rolling.

This kit supplies the wheels as a pair with the mounting hardware needed to fit them, and is the version for chairs running the smaller of the two Klaxon axle sizes. Check the axle size on your client’s chair before ordering, because the two versions are not interchangeable.

It suits clients who use their power add on who take their power add on off the footpath: beach access, farm tracks, bush paths and regional roads. Fitting is straightforward for a technician and the standard wheels can go back on for everyday indoor use.
