The CJSM2 is the second generation R-net joystick module, and this version is the one without Bluetooth: infra-red control, jack sockets and lighting support are all there, but the smart device connection is not part of the build. It suits a client who wants the larger high-resolution screen and the simpler paddle controls without paying for connectivity they will not use.
Paddle switches cover power, profile, mode and speed adjustment, which removes the toggles and dials from earlier module designs and makes the controls easier to operate with limited hand function. A loudspeaker replaces the electronic buzzer, so the horn can be heard outdoors, and the metal case protects the module against knocks in daily use.
R-net’s connect-and-go capability means it can take the place of an existing joystick module without reconfiguring the chair.
