The R-net Colour Joystick Module is the standard hand control for an R-net powered wheelchair, with a colour screen that shows battery state, speed setting, drive profile and any system warnings in graphics large enough to read while driving. This version is supplied without lighting support, which suits chairs built for indoor and short-range outdoor use where lights are not part of the specification.
For the client it is the main interface with the chair: profile and speed changes, powered seating functions where fitted, and clear feedback if something needs attention. For the therapist and the technician it is a known quantity, programmable to the client’s driving ability and able to be re-set as that changes.
It is commonly specified as a replacement module on an existing R-net chair.
