The Whitmyer Plush is the standard posterior head support in the Whitmyer range, built from dual density foam layers on a contoured, curved panel. The cupped shape holds the back of the head and spreads the contact across it.
It is a single pad design, so it accommodates a client whose position changes through the day rather than pinning the head in one place. For someone using a power chair with tilt, that tolerance matters: the head moves through the tilt range and still finds support.
The pad takes lateral, anterior and switch additions, so the head support can be built up later if the client’s needs increase. A wide range of pad sizes is available, in reversed Dartex or Lycra covers.
