Where the tilt lever sits decides who can use it. Mounting it on the push brace puts the control at standing height, directly under the carer’s hands, so they can change the seat angle while holding the frame and looking at the client.
That suits pressure care routines where the seat needs tilting through the day, and carers who find bending to a frame mounted lever hard on their back. It also makes the adjustment less of an event, which usually means it actually gets done as often as the plan says.
This kit retrofits, so a frame already in service can be changed over without replacing the chassis.
