Moving a hospital bed through a domestic doorway or between facilities usually takes several staff and a lot of improvising. The IKAN trolley carries a bed on its side, clamped and supported, so it fits through narrow openings and travels safely.
Adjustable clamps hold beds and trolleys of most types, manual or electric, and the frames are felt covered so paintwork and panels are not marked in transit. Four castors set up with brakes and directional locks keep the load tracking straight over flat surfaces.
A winch and strap with a removable stabiliser mean one person can load, secure and move a bed without a second set of hands. The whole trolley is stainless steel and collapses down when it is not in use, so it does not tie up storage space between jobs.
