For a client who cannot reliably get from the bedroom to the bathroom, particularly at night. Having a commode beside the bed removes the walk that most falls happen on, and it removes the pressure of trying to get there in time.
The seat is padded and hinges up out of the way, the upholstery is spill proof, and the backrest and armrests are padded as well, so it is comfortable enough to sit on for as long as the client needs. The plastic seat lifts out for cleaning and the pail and lid are included.
Legs adjust for height, so the seat can be matched to the bed and to the client’s leg length for a safe sit to stand. Anti slip rubber tips hold it on hard floors.
