If your client can release a standard push-button buckle when they should not, a reduced access cover changes how much effort the release takes. This cover snaps onto the push-button buckle on a Bodypoint hip belt and narrows the opening, so the button has to be pressed with a fingertip.
It suits a client who has the hand skills to undo a belt but not the judgement to do it safely, and it keeps the belt and buckle already in service on the chair. Carers still get a quick release when they need one, which matters at transfer time and in an emergency.
Supplied in grey as a replacement part for current push-button buckles on wider webbing.
