This soft sock aid uses a flexible terry towelling former, so it folds to the shape of the foot as the sock goes on. That suits a client with a swollen foot, a sensitive foot, or one who finds a hard former uncomfortable against the heel.
The client rolls the sock over the former, lowers it to the floor with the cords and steps in, then pulls up. It works for compression stockings as well as everyday socks, which is where a lot of clients lose independence first.
